HEADLEY THEATRE CLUB NEWSLETTER SPRING 2010
Welcome to the spring edition, included here are some important dates for your diary. Please make a note of them as there might not be another newsletter before the summer.
AGM: This years AGM had to move to the scout hut in Beech Hill Road as there was another major event taking place (in case you missed it General Election!!!) There were no issues raised and the meeting was brief and concise, as a rehearsal for Dick Barton was following. Membership fees will be the same as last year that is £21 per adult member £10.50 for youth member. On this note please can I remind you that membership is now due. Please send your remittance to John McGregor as soon as possible. IF YOUR MEMBERSHIP IS NOT UP TO DATE YOU CANNOT TAKE PART IN ANY PRODUCTION rules are rules!!!!
We had a very successful 'BARDS NIGHT' attracting a fantastic full house, it shows we Brits do want to celebrate 'OUR' day, we are hoping to do another celebration of all that is English next year to keep an eye open for updates.
As you read this Dick Barton will be about to do its two-night run (it might have already happened, depending on when you read this!!) over the Bank Holiday weekend. Jill Turner has done a brilliant job and her cast has worked really hard to bring to the stage a very funny and rather risqué script. Ticket sales (at time of writing ) are virtually sold out for the two nights.
